Alright so first of all, let me just say that this internship is AMAZING and I am so grateful that Im doing it. Now, let me just say, that these have been the most exhausting 3 or 4 days in my life LOL
The drive over here was very long, but we made it in 16 hours. However, we decided not to stop so we were RIDICULOUSLY sleepy. Driving from 1230 at night until 830 the next morning is not easy. Especially when you didnt sleep the night before, and you woke up at 830am that day to finish packing lol (fail whale on my part) (oh, just a side note, SpaceBags are friggin AMAZING)
Anyways, first day of check in… got in line around 630am, they let us in at 745am, and then the process began. It was pretty much check point after check point. LOTS of paper work and a lot of waiting in lines. I wasnt out of there until 11:30am.
Yes, you read correctly, 6:30am-11:30am just to check in!
I got to see my apartment after that (which is amazing! posting a vid soon) (every bedroom has its own bathroom, walk in closet, and we can check to see if the washer/dryers for clothes are finished ONLINE) but we did have yet another mini orientation at 3pm. UNTIL 5. I was literally falling asleep the entire time. Ive never really been like that, where Im always falling asleep and it happened to me 3 days in a row lol
Went to dinner with the roomies after that, got to know eachother a little bit (theres 6 of us in the apartment).
Ultimately, Disney has proven to be extremely exhausting but still so much fun and sooo nice. Everything has been amazing. Even the buildings we were in for check in were super nice lol Statues of gold disney characters every where and Disney quotes.
Oh and did I mention its like 80 degrees here?? SAH WEEEET
Still cant believe this is where Im living for 4 months…
I definitely miss my friends already but I am SO ready for this change :)
